Experimenta is an arts and culture channel dedicated to experimental film, tv, performance and music from around the world and throughout history. Expect the unexpected 24 hours a day. This channel is about high culture, art house cinema and bridging arts and entertainment.
Reflecting the target audience of adults interested in the arts and counterculture, I decided to create this ident using handcut card and printed scenes from famous art house movies.
Creating this with analogue methods was important to me as I felt as though the audience would appreciate something that reflected the films that they would be watching on the channel.
Using after affects to create the shapes and logo animation, I used these as templates to cut them out into red card, acting as frames.
